On August 28th, The Orb will be releasing “THE ORBSERVER,” a full collaboration with reggae/dub pioneer Lee “Scratch” Perry. In addition to new material, it will feature re-workings of a classic from each party (“Police And Thieves,” which Perry produced for Junior Murvin in 1976, and The Orb’s “Little Fully Clouds.”) The album will be available in a variety of CD, yinyl and digital formats, and one track, “Hold Me Upsetter,” is currently available as a free download.
