"It's kind of funny because it's all a big paradox, what we talk about, what we sing about, what we use," Dino said. "It's all about technology.

"This record, if you've seen the cover, has a spine, like a tail spine, but it's in the shape of a sperm. And it's supposed to be a fossil of mankind. Man had created machines to make life easier, and was in control over machines, but over the years, the evolution of technology has made machines more intelligent and stronger than man. It has made man weaker. There was no need for anymore, and that was when man became obsolete. Man is a slave to the machine now, whereas before he had control.

"Certain songs on there... 'Securitron' is like the Big Brother, an organization that was created by the government to watch every move that you make. Securitron also controls the Police State 2000, and Smash and Devour, a very powerful machine, kind of like a Terminator-Robocop kind of thing that can completely destroy anything in its path and life forms and structure. We have this one character called Edgecrusher, who is trying to fight against the machines, trying to send a shock through the system, trying to bring back humanity. That's basically the concept. It's kind of funny because later on I found out that it's kind of what Gary Numan was singing about on 'Replicas' and so on."
