What are your feelings on the 'gothic' label?
Tina: "I think that the gothic label is fine. I don't necessarily think I consider us gothic, though it's a great scene. The reason I don't consider us gothic is because I'm not into wearing black all the time, though I think it's cool that people are. We're not into singing about only dark things, we wear pink and green and have a good time. We're smiling and we're obnoxious and if the gothic scene is changing into something that's like that then yeah, we're gothic. The only thing I don't really like about the scene, or that I haven't liked in the past, was the attitude that went along with it. In order to be gothic, it's good to look pale or be really thin and you have to have long beautiful black hair. And not everyone looks that way, and it's kind of an inhumane type thing. You can't really act out, you have to be quiet and respectful and I don't really agree with a lot of that. Though while we were on tour I've seen it change. I went to gothic clubs like 4 or 5 years ago and there was a lot of attitude, but I'm seeing people who still look strictly gothic who are running around having fun and smiling and stuff. That's what I hope for the scene, I hope it starts to have a better time. There's no reason to be gloomy and sad and stuff."
