How did the 'Goth Fest' tour go?

Tina: "It was great, we got along really well. We learned a lot from Christian Death, they're really professiona on stage, and learned a lot from the tour manager, who ended up doing our sound. Just as far as Switchblade goes, we feel we had a really good response, we improved a lot live. It was cool to finally perform for people who had never seen us before."

Do you enjoy being on the road, or would you rather be working on new material?

Tina: "It seems as if there's a demand for us to be playing a lot of shows at this point, and we also feel that we need to be writing new material. I feel feel that at this point it's a bit more important for us to get some new material going than to go immediately back on the road. Though when were on the East Coast, people were hollering to hear old, old songs that we don't even play anymore. It's hard because some people complain that we don't play any really old stuff, but I'm assuming that the San Francisco audience is getting a little bored because our set hasn't been changed for a while. So we need to find kind of a happy medium between incorporating new material and writing and touring. But we can't keep everybody happy. There are some people who say 'why don't you have anything new out' and then there are people who are like 'why don't you play "Chain" anymore?' and we have people saying 'why don't you play Chicago' again. So we're like wait, wait, what are we supposed to be doing right now?"
